Mostly posting this to test out my new journal skin that i just coded up (let me know what you think). It was a fun little coding project, definitely not intuitive or easy da, There should definitely be a list of editable elements and their class names somewhere.

In other news, the folks at the #IllustrationNow group made me an admin! Its actually been super fun learning the ins and outs of how groups work here, It is also nice to actually be critiquing art on a regular basis (haven't really done it since I got out of school). It kinda forces you to use your brain to figure out what you like/ don't like, and why. Shout out to protowilson and gppr for showing me the ropes and answering all my dumb questions.

Other than that i've been busy drawling and printing things, I have a couple of conventions and events coming up (more on that later) that i've been getting ready for. I've also been working through some art instruction books by Andrew Loomis this month, which has been awesome. The Books used to be online for free but I can't find the website anymore. but if you are looking for great instruction on figure drawling just email me or something and I can send you the pdfs.

Aside: Started writing my first comic (something I've wanted to do forever) and its going quite well. more on that later obviously.
